  1. Information on how to enter and prizes forms part of these Conditions of Entry. Entry into this promotion is deemed to be acceptance of these Conditions of Entry and prizes will be provided in accordance with and subject to these Conditions of Entry.
  2. Entry is only open to Australian permanent residents aged 16 years and over. All entrants below the age of 18 years prior to the end date of the promotion must have the prior consent from a parent/guardian to enter into this promotion. Employees or contractors (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, its associated companies, advertising agencies and participating retailers are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin, whether or not they live in the same household as the employee or contractor.
  3. The promotion commences on Wednesday 1st July 2009 and concludes on Wednesday 30th September 2009. Closing time for receipt of entries will be Thursday 17:30 1st October 2009.
  4. To enter the promotion, participants must first visit the website www.rightolayforyou.com.au and complete Right Olay For You online skin consultation. After the completion, entrants must opt to participate from the promotion and provide their contact information to go into the draw. By entering this promotion you are agreeing to receive further communication from P&G.
  5. Multiple entries will be accepted but only one participation will be counted per email address.
  6. Incomplete entries will be deemed invalid.
  7. The winner will be selected at random and will be awarded a loose diamond with the following certification – Cut: Round Brilliant Cut / Carat: 1.04 / Colour: H / Clarity: I1 / Dimensions 6.41/6.48* 4.05mm. Prize is valued at up to $9,950.00 (Retail and at time of purchase). The draw will take place on Friday 2nd October at 10:00AM at MDSA – 15 Grosvenor Street, Neutral Bay NSW 2089.
  8. Winner will be advised by telephone and email on Monday 5 October 2009 and announced in The Australian Newspaper on Monday 5 October 2009.
  9. The Promoter reserves the right to redraw the prize in the event of an entrant failing to comply with these terms and conditions or forfeiting or not claiming the prize by Monday 4 January 2010. If the prize remains unclaimed by that date, a second draw will be held at 10:00AM on Friday 22nd January 2010 at the same location as the original draw. Disposal of any unclaimed prizes may be made subject to any written directions given by any government authority and pursuant to any relevant legislation. Any unclaimed prize draw winner will be contacted by phone and email. Any winner will also be announced in The Australian newspaper on Friday 29th January 2010.
  10. If the prize is unavailable, for whatever reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for a prize of equal or greater value, subject to state regulation.
  11. The prize must be taken as offered and can not be varied. Prize values are GST inclusive and are in Australian dollars and are wholesale value as provided by the supplier and are correct at time of purchase. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in prize value.
  12. If the winner is under the age of 18 years the prize will be awarded to their parents or legal guardian.
  13. The Promoter and their associated agencies, and companies associated with this promotion will take no responsibility for prizes damaged or lost in transit. Once prizes have left Promoter’s premises, the Promoter will not be responsible for any delay in delivery, or failure of safe delivery of prizes.
  14. Prize winner is advised that Tax implications may arise from their prize winning and they should seek independent financial advice prior to the acceptance of the prize.
  15. The Promoter is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, caused by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in this competition, or for any technical error, or any combination thereof that may occur in the course of the administration of this competition including any omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line, mobile or satellite network failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alteration of entries.
  16. If for any reason this promotion in not capable of running as planned, including due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and, subject to any written direction given by the various Lottery Departments, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion.
  17. In the case of the intervention of any outside agent or event which naturally changes the result or prevents or hinders it’s determination, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strikes: the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the event and recommence it from the start on the same conditions subject to State Regulation.
  18. The Promoter collects entrants’ personal information in order to conduct the promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including, but not limited to, prize suppliers and as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. If the information requested is not provided, the entrant may not participate in the promotion. By entering the promotion, unless otherwise advised, each entrant also agrees that the Promoter may also use this information, in any media for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any further reference, payment or other compensation to the entrant, including sending the entrant electronic messages. A request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to the Promoter at their address set out below. All entries become the property of the Promoter.
  19. Entrants consent to the Promoter using the entrant's name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (incl. photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period of time without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this competition (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
  20. The promotion is offered in Australia and is governed by the laws applicable in the respective State or Territory in which the dispute arises in Australia.
